On Wednesday, June 20 in Miami Beach, Actress Tracee Ellis Ross, the 16th Annual American Black Film Festival’s Ambassador, joined ABFF Founder Jeff Friday and together they carried the torch for opening day as they left their mark throughout the festivities attending an array of events celebrating black film. Ross walked the red carpet at the premiere of “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” dazzled at the City of Miami’s VIP Reception, and finished off the evening at the Arkadia Lounge in the Fontainebleu Hotel.
