A New York Times bestselling author, award-winning television personality, screenwriter, playwright, Broadway dancer and actress, Rita Rudner is well known for her epigrammatic one-liners. After moving to New York at the age of 15 to become a dancer on Broadway, she appeared in several shows including the original productions of Follies and Mack and Mabel. In the early ‘80s she began exploring the comedy clubs of Manhattan, and after deciding to take a full-time leap from chorus lines to punch lines she was soon a regular guest on both Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show.

Her first solo HBO special, Rita Rudner’s One Night Stand, was nominated for several awards, and her two one-hour specials Born to Be Mild and Married Without Children were ratings standouts that she performed to packed audiences across the country. In 2008, Rita Rudner: Live from Las Vegas was PBS’ first ever stand-up comedy special.

Rudner performs at The Venetian, where over the course of a 10-year run and more than 2,000 shows she has sold more one million tickets and become the longest-running solo show in the history of Las Vegas. She has been named Comedian of the Year nine years in a row, and in 2006 received The Nevada Ballet’s Woman of the Year Award, a designation she shares with other recipients such as Bette Midler and Celine Dion.

She has written five books, including her bestselling non-fiction titles, Naked Beneath My Clothes and Rita Rudner’s Guide to Men, as well as the novels Turning Tables and Tickled Pink, which received a Grammy nomination for its audio version. She is also a frequent collaborator with her writer/producer husband of 20 years, Martin Bergman. The duo’s latest film, Thanks, premiered on Showtime in March 2012.

As a seasoned actor, writer, musician and stand-up comedian Paul Reiser continues to add to his list of accomplishments. In addition to creating and starring in the critically acclaimed NBC series, Mad About You, which garnered him Emmy, Golden Globe, American Comedy Award and Screen Actors Guild nominations, his successes also include his most recent book Familyhood. The book is the long-awaited follow up to Babyhood and Couplehood, his first book which sold over two million copies and reached the number one spot on the New York Times bestseller list.

Reiser’s most recent music project was the release of Unusual Suspects, an album of original songs he wrote with celebrated British singer and songwriter Julia Fordham. Previously, he co-wrote The Final Frontier alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Don Was. The track is the theme song for Mad About You and has the unique distinction of having been broadcast on Mars, as it was chosen by NASA mission directors as the “wake-up call” for the Sojourner Rover.

His numerous successful film roles include Diner, Bye, Bye Love, The Marrying Man, The Thing About My Folks, which he wrote and starred in with Academy Award winning actors Peter Falk and Olympia Dukakis, and many more.
