They are multi-talented, extremely outgoing, and live in both Broward and Dade counties. They are the final 10 candidates for a one-year job at Seminole Casino Hollywood that comes with a $100,000 compensation package. And they’re fired up about it!

Last Sunday, Aug.14, 50 finalists were invited back to the casino to complete a mock photo shoot, a voice-over, and second job interview. From that field, the chosen finalists are:

Vanessa Conde of Miami, Darryl Ellis of Pembroke Pines, Catherine Gestewitz of Hollywood, Vanessa Jerome of Coconut Creek, Telli O’Connor of Pompano Beach, Ayme Sanchez of Davie, Marcus Smith of Miami Beach, Lisa Steadman of Surfside, Tonya Traylor of Miami Gardens, and Kenny Walker of Davie.

The “Face of Classic $100,000 Dream Job Giveaway” candidates were chosen from an initial field of 1,000 people last June.

“It’s been an extensive process and we’re now looking forward to the big day on August 23 when a panel of judges will interview the top 10 finalists, and the “Face of Classic” winner will finally be chosen!” said an excited director of marketing, Rob Dearstine.

The public is invited to witness the unique promotional competition from 9 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. with announcement of the winner at 11:30 a.m. There will be three celebrity judges: comedian Jimmie (“JJ”) Walker, celebrity correspondent Michael Yo, longtime South Florida radio personality Mindy Lang, and three Seminole Casino Hollywood judges.

Though they’re all extremely outgoing, the final 10 job candidates have diverse backgrounds and interests. As a part of their job description, the triumphant victor will appear in multiple TV, print, and billboard advertisements, attend all of the casino’s community and special events, co-host the majority of its promotions, perform all casino intercom announcements, conduct a radio publicity tour, host the casino’s Facebook account, post YouTube videos, and write daily tweets.

In addition to a guaranteed salary of $75,000, he or she will drive a new automobile with free gasoline; have a $6,000 wardrobe expense account; receive a $2,500 photo and video shoot portfolio; get free food for the year, a special parking space at the casino, and more.
