Italian craftsmen of comfort and elegance, Tod’s, celebrates the launch of their new Signature Collection with a cocktail soiree sponsored by Ocean Drive Magazine and hosted by Nadine Curmi Borgomanero, Suzy Buckley (Editor in Chief of Ocean Drive Magazine), Gail S. Meyers, Daniela Swoebe and Beth Tasca.
While shopping amongst a hand-picked crowd of Miami’s finest, guests will enjoy chilled cocktails and decadent hor d’oeuvres. The new Tod’s Signature Collection along with Tod’s Fall / Winter 2011 – 2012 collection will be on display for all to enjoy. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Miami Museum of Art, a world-class museum and dynamic center of visual arts education.
The Tod’s Signature Collection perfectly expresses the “DNA” of the Tod’s brand, bringing together ancient artisan leather-making techniques with modern design and technology to create pieces that are perfectly suited to a modern life. Significantly, the new pattern is not printed on, but rather imprinted in the leather of each piece. This imprinting creates an interesting geometric play on a pattern that has been made famous by Tod’s; a pattern now seen in its newest and most exciting form.
