Miami Film Festival 2019 opening night film THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING opens August 16 at O Cinema South Beach. The groundbreaking documentary, features Geena Davis, Meryl Streep, Rashida Jones, Reese Witherspoon, Tiffany Haddish and other influential voices in Hollywood seeking gender equality.
In this timely follow-up to his documentary CASTING BY, Tom Donahue explores the insidious and systemic sexism in Hollywood through the voices of marquee celebrities, including Geena Davis, Meryl Streep, Sandra Oh, Jessica Chastain, and many other ambassadors of the #MeToo & #TimesUp movement.
Told first hand by some of Hollywood’s leading voices behind and in front of the camera, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING is a feature-length documentary that uncovers what is beneath one of the most confounding dilemmas in the entertainment industry the under-representation and misrepresentation of women. It takes an incisive look at the history, empirical evidence, and systemic forces that foster gender discrimination and thus reinforce disparity in our culture.
