The YoungArts Backyard Ball 2020

BACKYARD BASH

The YoungArts Backyard Ball will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2020. The evening brings together artists, influential community leaders, philanthropists and celebrities to support and acknowledge the achievements of the 2020 YoungArts winners, the nation’s most outstanding young artists in the literary, visual and performing arts.

As YoungArts’ largest annual fundraiser, the occasion marks the conclusion of the organization’s signature program, National YoungArts Week. One of the most comprehensive programs for aspiring artists, National YoungArts Week provides approximately 170 finalists with transformative experiences, including master classes, workshops, interdisciplinary activities and the opportunity to perform for and exhibit to public audiences.

The 2019 Backyard Ball honored designers Simon and Nikolai Haas of The Haas Brothers with the Arison Award and Camille A. Brown (1997 YoungArts Winner in Dance & U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts) with the Arison Alumni Award for their vital contributions and commitment to the arts. The Backyard Ball was presented by luxury jewelry brand Harry Winston, Inc., who is dedicated to continuing a history of philanthropy. Darlene and Jorge M. Pérez served as honorary chairs with Oxana and Steven Marks and Jackie Soffer and Craig Robins serving as co-chairs.
