The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative (WBHI) hosted its eighth annual B-Fore-Pink Breast Cancer Golf Tournament on Friday, October 4, at Shula’s Golf Club to raise awareness on the importance of prevention and early detection of breast cancer. Presented by AutoNation, the B-Fore-Pink Breast Cancer Golf Tournament, recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month, joined the community and businesses for a day on the golf course, while raising funds to provide breast health education and screenings.
The annually anticipated B-Fore-Pink Breast Cancer Golf Tournament presented by AutoNation was introduced by Andrea Ivory, WBHI’s Founder and Executive Director, followed by jazz extraordinaire and Miami favorite, Jon Saxx, performing the national anthem. Host Committee Co-Chair, Wayne Rinehart, helped orchestrate the event.
The annual B-Fore-Pink Breast Cancer Golf Tournament was made possible thanks to generous supporters including presenting sponsor AutoNation, The Lowell S. and Betty L. Dunn Family Foundation, The Graham Companies, Jackson Health System, Macy’s, Ryder, Solution Construction, UPS, and other corporations and local retailers.
