THE VILLAGE AT GULFSTREAM PARK PARTNERS WITH TREATS FOR SOLDIERS

Bring the holiday season to soldiers who need a taste of home! The Village at Gulfstream Park, South Florida’s ultimate shopping, dining and entertainment destination, is teaming up with Treats For Soldiers, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to providing care packages to American armed forces deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Treats for Soldiers will be selling holiday light-up pins every Friday and Saturday nights: December 10, 11, 17 & 18 near the Symphony in Lights display in Champions Plaza at The Village at Gulfstream Park. A minimum donation of $1 per pin is suggested, and one hundred percent of proceeds benefit the organization.

Founded by Hallandale resident, Claire Poole, in 2005, Treats for Soldiers, Inc. sends care packages weekly to American servicemen and women overseas to provide needed morale boosts. For more information on Treats for Soldiers, Inc., visit www.treatsforsoliders.org.
