‘Twas the weeks before the holiday’s, and all through the mall, families will be shopping and having a ball. From photos with Santa and a Broadway Kids show, to stilt walkers, candy canes and children aglow!
The Shops at Pembroke Gardens will capture smiles and the holiday spirit this season with their Holiday Headquarters taking place on Saturday, December 8th. The event will feature cheerful festivities all throughout the outdoor lifestyle center. Over by the Fountain Plaza, jolly stilt walkers will tower over the sidewalks and live band performers—including Broadway Kids’ street carolers and a high school band—will fill the air with merriment, as kids enjoy candy canes and photos with Santa Claus. But the festivities don’t end there! The following day—Sunday, December 9th— a local Rabbi will host a Menorah Lighting ceremony at the Fountain Plaza in celebration of Hanukkah.
Visitors are also welcome to donate an unwrapped new toy to NBC 6’s Caravan of Joy toy drive, which has a drop off location—festooned like a fireplace—at The Shops at Pembroke Gardens between Brighton Collectibles and Talbots. The Caravan of Joy annual toy drive collects thousands of toys each year for children in need throughout South Florida.
