Wickedly funny, THE SANTALAND DIARIES looks at David Sedaris’ life when the unemployed writer accepts a job in a Macy’s Santaland as an elf during the holiday season. In this dark-humored tale, Sedaris spends much of the time feeling amusingly humiliated by wearing a velvet elf suit, participating in elf training, and enduring abuse from drunken Santas, mean customers, and screaming children.
