On Halloween, GenArt and Supermarket Creative invite Platinum and higher level members back to an era which explored the pre-disco boundaries of social taboo’s with the all chic frivolity of a mink glove. That year was 1972, and its Capital was… “The Other Hollywood”.
We reel back a veritable 8mm roll of decadent nostalgia; rewinding the loop back to a time-varnished opening scene of America’s most provocative history. Somewhere between short hem lines and long gas lines is a midriff in time that exposes the utter loss of a nations innocence captured in the starkness of Technicolor. Complimentary retro-vignette guest photo shoot provided by Mossimo: Jose “El Rey” Directs. Music will be provided by guest Brooklyn guest DJ’s DRRTY Haze and Son of Sound with performances by Afro Beta.
The “Awarehouse” features a fully equipped state-of-the-art pro-audio soundboard and recording studio with in-house publishing capability.
