WHO: THE GILMOUR PROJECT
WHAT: The Gilmour Project An All-Star Band Celebrates the 50th Anniversary of David Gilmour & Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. The Band has been playing to fan acclaim and immense critical press and now brings the excitement to Revolution. The Gilmour Projectincorporates acclaimed musicians whose background is both prog(ressive) and improvisational.
o Jeff Pevar (lead guitar with CSN, David Crosby/CPR, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Bette Midler, Jazz Is Dead, Blue Floyd, Phil Lesh & Friends, Rickie Lee Jones, Marc Cohn),
o Kasim Sulton (bass & vocals with Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, Meatloaf, Blue Oyster Cult, Hall & Oates, Cheap Trick & Joaan Jett),
o Prairie Prince (co-founder of The Tubes, original drummer with Journey, drums with Todd Rundgren, Blue Floyd, Jefferson Starship, Phil Lesh & Friends, XTC, George Harrison, Chris Isaak, Dick Dale),
o Mark Karan (guitar & vocals with Bob Weir, RatDog, The Other Ones, Delaney Bramlett, Dave Mason, Sophie B Hawkins, The Rembrandts, The Airplane Family, Live Dead ’69, Tom Constanten

Each performance included…
- SET 1: ’Dark Side of The Moon’ (Pink Floyd’s 1972 pre album concert version)
- SET 2: A deep dive into a rotating assortment of audacious psychedelic era Floyd, solo Gilmour, plus Grateful Dead-esque and James Brown funk jams. Threatening to add a Kate Bush song, because this is ‘The Gilmour Project’ (Kate was ’discovered’ by David Gilmour after all).
