This fall’s #1 NFL Sunday Football Party can be found at Kitchen 305 in the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort. Former NFL pro-athletes, Bennie and Brian Blades, will be hosting the 4:05 p.m. kickoff party on Sunday, Oct. 4th when the Miami Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills. During the game, fans will enjoy autographs, raffle prizes and professional play-by-play halftime commentary. Football fans will also enjoy drink and appetizer specials throughout the evening.
The Blades Brothers are both University of Miami Alumni who played close to 10 years for the Detroit Lions and the Seattle Seahawks respectively. The Brothers will host Kitchen 305’s Sunday football viewing party in support of the Bennie Blade 36 Foundation, a non-profit that raises funds for football clinics to motivate local youth. Bennie Blades, who is already a member of the UM Sports Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame, will join the UM Football Ring of Honor at the end of October. The Ring of Honor was established during the 1997 Season as a way to recognize the outstanding players that have passed through the Hurricane Football Program. During his time as a defensive back for the Miami Hurricanes from 1985 to 1987, Bennie Blades helped the Hurricanes win the national championship while setting five school records.
Future NFL events will take place at Kitchen 305 on November 1st (New York Jets), December 6th (New England Patriots) and (TBA Playoff Game). Each event will be hosted by a different NFL athlete.
