In partnership with Miami Children’s Chorus, The Big Sing will feature four community choirs raising their voices in song and engaging the audience to sing and dance along in this musical celebration.
Miami Children’s Chorus will perform Latin American pop favorites, including tunes from Gloria Estefan and other Miami icons; while Encantus Voices, an adult choir, leads the audience in beloved traditional songs from various Latin American countries, including Colombia and Venezuela. Genesis Delegation, featuring the Rev. Melvin Dawson, will sweep you away with familiar gospel melodies; and Girl Power Rocks will crank up the volume with soul and R&B hits from Aretha Franklin and various others.
Everyone will sing along to iconic composer Rollo Dilworth’s “Rise and Shine,” inspired by the timeless melody of “This Little Light of Mine.”
