Local Miami poet Oscar Fuentes, also known as The Biscayne Poet, will be stationed in the lobby providing improvisational, personalized poems from his vintage typewriter on recycled 1 Hotel stationary. Oscar recently published his book, Welcome Home Poems Inspired by 1 Hotel South Beach which he wrote during a writer-in-residence program at the property. The poems capture poetic impressions from an inner voice that feels at Home, while away from Home.
