This collection of duets titled Ten Years from Now reimagine seven of Pioneer Winter’s works created over the course of a decade, including four duets that Winter himself danced in originally. Through a lens akin to an annotated director’s cut, this evening promises to completely reinvent its repertoire, offering a profound perspective and deep insight into the creative process behind their inception and compelling their revisit. Performed by incredible artists Jessica Gilmore, Junior Domingos, Hector Machado, Niurca Marquez, Katrina Petrarca, Marjorie Burnett, Aeon De La Cruz, Dani F. Amaro, and Pioneer Winter. Collaborators include production design by Shannon Veguilla, sound design by Diego Melgar and Dani F. Amaro, poetry by Arsimmer McCoy, and lighting design by Apon Nichols. |
