The award winning Tango Lovers theatrical production transports the audience across the history of tango through a journey of its different styles. Tango Lovers achieves harmony between tango salon and tango show and poses a different perspective of tango that displays its artistic evolution. The Tango Lovers performance consists of two parts. The first part is inspired by the Golden Age of tango having the essence of the dance as a central axis. By mixing wardrobe, dance and songs it brings the audience the taste of the rhythm and flavor of Buenos Aires. The second part shows a different and modern view inspired in the tumultuous vortex of big city life and the relationships among people while still displaying tango’s avant-garde aesthetics. World-class dancers lead by World Tango Champion Marcos Ayala and a full band directed by the Grammy nominated Gustavo Casenave provide the excitement and glamour that only the tango can bring.
