A fun day of water activities for the whole family at A.D. Barnes Park Swimming Pool (3401 SW 72nd Ave., Miami) on Saturday, June 5th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children and parents will have the opportunity to learn all about swim safety with demonstrations, instructions and interactive water activities.
The event is sponsored by Miami-Dade County Parks & Recreation, Miami Children’s Hospital, Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Supporters include Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez; Miami-Dade County Commissioners Dennis Moss, Katy Sorenson and Rebeca Sosa; Miami-Dade County Schools Board Members Marta Perez and Dr. Lawrence Feldman; and City of Pinecrest Mayor Cindy Lerner.
