SUGARCANE raw bar grill Launches New Brunch Menu

Midtown Miami’s sweetest sensation, SUGARCANE raw bar grill, announces the launch of weekend brunch. Starting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, our neighbors are invited to relax and catch up with friends while dining on a flavor-filled brunch menu that’s served until 5 p.m. True to the tapas-style theme, the new selection of sweet and savory brunch dishes were created with sharing in mind. Thoughtfully prepared by Executive Chef Timon Balloo, ingredients are seasonal-sourced with farm-to-table-style preparations when available. Chef Balloo will be changing the menu regularly to reflect the season’s finest ingredients.

For the foodie-conscious, brand-new soon-to-be favorites include sweet treats such as Whole Wheat Pumpkin Pancakes with whipped housemade vanilla bean ricotta and seasonal fruit ($8); House Muesli with housemade yogurt, orange blossom honey and fresh berries ($6); the Sweet Bread Basket with blended butters and fruit jams ($5); and the Belgian Waffle, topped with either berries ‘n’ cream or banana ‘n’ Nutella ($7).

“Sugarcaned” savory classics include Balloo’s playful takes on Steak ‘n’ Eggs Benedict, prepared with oxtail cheek and tail hash, poached egg and topped with a sherry-splashed hollandaise on sourdough bread ($12); Truffled Toad in the Hole, served on brioche with melting robiola ($11); Baked Eggs, made with garbanzo beans, garden vegetables and heirloom tomatoes (also available with chorizo) ($12); Roasted Burrata, dried tomato stew with country bread ($9); Morning Flatbread with roasted egg, garden vegetables and manchego cheese ($13); Duck and Waffles with crispy leg confit and mustard maple syrup ($14); and a Grilled Cheese made with taleggio and wild mushrooms, served with French fries ($11).

Loyalists will recognize other bestsellers from the scaled-down lunch and dinner menu, along with  salads and burgers, and specialties available from the full-service raw bar and robata grill. Brunch would not be complete without a refreshing cocktail and the mixologists at SUGARCANE raw bar grill do not disappoint with a separate brunch beverage menu. Freshly squeezed juices, rosé wines, champagnes, and sharable pitchers of Bloody Marys, mimosas and sangria guarantee that the party remains in Midtown. A large coffee selection is also available for diners recovering from their weekend adventures.

SUGARCANE raw bar grill is located in the heart of Miami’s emerging Midtown district at 3250 NE First Avenue. Developed by the creators of SUSHISAMBA, SUGARCANE raw bar grill is inspired by international influences and South American spirit. Three distinct kitchens – robata, hot and raw bar – unite for a fresh take on tradition and a unique culmination of flavor. Embarking on quest for the simple pleasures of life – eating well, kicking back and celebrating with friends – the concept focuses on a ”shared experience” through its tapas-style menu: eclectic small plates, freshly muddled pitchers and imported beers on tap.
