Join Eduardo (Lalo) Durazo and Chef Oscar del Rivero Wednesday, November 10 as they kick-off the Margarita Lab, Talavera’s new weekly happy hour featuring specials on signature cocktails and fresh Mexican fare.
Talavera invites you to “stay happy…un poquito mas” with food and drink specials every Wednesday from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. Talavera introduces its Six Flavor Margarita Sampler, a $16 sampler featuring a margarita to showcase each of Talavera’s six signature flavors: strawberry, tamarind, lime, watermelon, cilantro, and mango. Individual, oversized shots from the “lab” will be specially priced at $3. Guests will also enjoy Talavera’s wide selection of tequilas, mezclas, Mexican beers and Mexican and Spanish wines, as well as the popular house ice tea made with hibiscus and hamache flowers.
The Margarita Lab isn’t just for those looking for a great cocktail. Talavera’s weekly happy hour will also offer complimentary tastings of your favorite menu items, including Sopes de Hongos con Huitlacoche (fresh corn masa with corn truffle, shiitake mushrooms, pico de gallo and goat cheese), Sopes de Chilorio (fresh corn mesa served with slow-cooked pulled pork and pico de gallo), and Sopes de Pipian Verde (fresh corn masa served with chicken breast in a pumpkin seed sauce with cilantro, lettuce, serrano chiles and cumin.)
