Sharp-witted stand-up comedian Joel McHale will set the stage for laughs at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on June 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets on sale now.
Joel McHale is one of the busiest actors in the entertainment business right now. He is currently starring on NBC’s hit comedy series, Community, has a number of films on deck and recently wrapped a much buzzed-about gig as the host of the 2011 Independent Spirit Awards.
McHale recently landed a role in Seth MacFarlane’s TED, which is a live action tale of a boy and his teddy bear. He will star opposite of Mark Walhberg, Mila Kunis and MacFarlane. He recently wrapped production on Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids 4 opposite Jessica Alba, where he will play a spy-hunting reporter married to Alba’s character, the stepmother to his kids. This summer, he also completed roles in two films, What’s Your Number? opposite Anna Farris and The Big Year with Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson. Previously, McHale starred opposite Matt Damon in Steven Soderbergh’s comedic thriller, The Informant.
Additionally, McHale continues to satirize pop culture and current events each week on E!’s The Soup. Joel’s quick wit and sharp comedic timing have made The Soup a pop culture phenomenon.
Born in Rome and raised in Seattle, Washington, McHale was a history major at the University of Washington where he also was a member of their championship football team. In addition, Joel received his Masters of Fine Arts from UW’s Actor’s Training Program.
