Nickelodeon and Paramount+ are celebrating the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants with two new Halloween-themed specials. The trailer for SpongeBob SquarePants: Kreepaway Kamp and first-look images from The Patrick Star Show: Something Stupid This Way Comes were unveiled today.
In Kreepaway Kamp, set during a Kamp Koral reunion, SpongeBob and his friends encounter a mysterious figure as campers start to vanish. The special premieres on Thursday, October 10, at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in the U.S., with additional releases later internationally. Fan-favorite characters including SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, and Mr. Krabs will reunite in this one-hour episode.
Meanwhile, The Patrick Star Show will present Something Stupid This Way Comes, featuring stories from Madame Hagfish about various characters including Pat-Tron and Patgor. This half-hour special debuts on Monday, October 14, at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on Nickelodeon, incorporating both 2D and stop-motion animation.
