South Florida’s hottest upscale Italian restaurant, SoLita Las Olas, along with Antinori Wines and Andrew Lampasone of Wine Watch, invites you to tempt, taste and indulge in a special Italian Wine Dinner Party at SoLita Las Olas on Tuesday, October 26th at 6:30p.m. SoLita’s Italian Wine Dinner Party will feature the delectable home-cooked culinary creations of Executive Chef Radar Risoli, paired with a selection of Antinori’s finest wines. The delightful pairing menu for the evening will begin with a selection of passed Italian hors d’oeurves including Risoli’s mouth-watering Baked Mussels, Italian Poppers, Bruchetta and Italian Sushi and a traditional Antipasti course of Eggplant Parmesean Stack, both paired with a 2008 Antinori Guado Al Tasso Vermentino Bolgheri. This course will be followed by a delightfully light Arugula Salad in a champagne vinaigrette dressing paired with a 2007 Las Braccesca Rosso De Montapulciano Sabazio. Risoli will then serve as a Secondi Course, his exquisite Calamari & Shrimp over Black Linguini Pasta in a Spicy White Wine Tomato Sauce, paired with a 2005 Villa Antinori Red Tuscany, and then a main course of Stuffed Veal Rack – slow roasted and stuffed with perfectly seasoned goat cheese and herbs – paired with a 2006 Antinori Tignanello Tuscany. Dessert will include a choice of house-made Lemon Panacotta on a bed of raspberry sauce and an assortment of fresh “Old School” Italian cookies. Andrew Lampasone of Wine Watch will introduce the wine pairings throughout the evening.
