WHAT:                  On Thursday, October 15th, award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien continued her “I AM LATINO IN AMERICA” Tour, presented by Northwestern Mutual, stopping at Occidental College in Los Angeles for another packed event filled with celebrities, national and local advocates, business leaders, students and academics.

Opened by a performance from Grammy Nominated Latina group Trio Ellas, Soledad and the panelists, including Esai Morales, Cristela Alonzo, Rick Najera and more, addressed critical issues amongst the Latino community including voting, the economy, and education issues throughout the evening. Following the presentation and panel, guests were treated to a special performance from Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas.
