Sip Channé, a groundbreaking venture founded by business mogul and philanthropist Kavita Channé, is making waves in the wellness industry by infusing the spirit of Côtes de Provence into the American wine market. Established in 2017, this minority women-owned company offers a fresh perspective on premium French wines, celebrating wellness, balance, and vibrant living.
Blending old-world traditions with a modern vision of inclusivity, Sip Channé elevates classic French wines to a health-conscious level with ultra-low sugar content and exquisite blends designed for diverse palates.
The brand’s Channé Rosé is an exceptional medley of Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre, hand-selected from the celebrated soils of Côtes de Provence. This elegant and crisp rosé showcases delicate notes of apricot and cherry, making it a perfect companion for everything from fresh seafood to hearty roasts. With its vibrant character, Channé Rosé embodies the fresh spirit of Southern France, ready to be enjoyed year-round.
Channé Blanc, the latest release, presents a traditional Provençal blend of Sémillon, Ugni Blanc, and Rolle. This smooth, dry white wine features no added sugar and boasts a long, balanced finish—free from tannins. Hints of floral, lemon, quince, and acacia flowers contribute to Channé Blanc’s refreshing yet robust profile, catering to wellness-conscious wine lovers seeking an elevated tasting experience.
Kavita Channé, the visionary founder and CEO of Sip Channé, brings a rich tapestry of experiences to her brand. A London native of Indian heritage, she relocated to South Florida at age five. Kavita graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, specializing in Business. Before her foray into the wine industry, she co-founded The Procurer, a celebrity concierge and marketing firm, while also carving out a niche as a sports reporter. In 2012, she joined the Fox Sports Prep Zone lineup as a sideline reporter, covering various sports in South Florida, and later served as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ sideline reporter, showcasing her multifaceted talents.
At the heart of Sip Channé’s winemaking is Thomas, a skilled viticulture expert from France. Growing up in his family’s vineyard, Thomas developed a profound respect for traditional winemaking methods. His journey took him through studies in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and training at Switzerland’s prestigious Changins School, followed by experience at top vineyards, including Frankland Estate in Australia. When Kavita first encountered his small, family-run domaine near St. Tropez, she found wines that captivated her—a quality she knew she wanted to share with the U.S. under the Sip Channé label. Today, Thomas’s global expertise and artisanal approach infuse each bottle, capturing the very essence of Provence.
“I wanted to bring something truly special to the table,” Kavita says. “As an Indian woman born in London and now rooted in Fort Lauderdale, wine has always been a passion that brings people together. Sip Channé isn’t just about the wine; it’s about creating a community and encouraging people to live a life of balance and joy.”
Sip Channé wines are available at select retailers, restaurants, and hotels across the United States, inviting wine lovers to experience a taste of Provence and become part of a vibrant community dedicated to wellness and connection.
