Shōwa Hospitality‘s The Taco Stand has opened its third South Florida location in Miami Beach, marking the concept’s 12th location nationwide. The fast-casual restaurant, known for its authentic Tijuana taqueria experience, opened its first East Coast location in Wynwood in 2016, followed by its Little Havana location in 2024.
Originating from the lively border region of Tijuana, founders Julian Hakim and Aram Baloyan are two passionate culinary aficionados on a mission to capture the essence of their native flavors. Inspired by Tijuana’s bustling taco stands and culinary adventures across the Baja Peninsula, Julian and Aram founded the first Taco Stand in San Diego in 2013. Now, they are dedicated to bringing the authentic taste of Mexican food to taco enthusiasts all over America.
Standout ingredients at The Taco Stand are part of the spot’s massive appeal. They include handmade corn tortillas, high-grade proteins, and the freshest produce, also used to make the restaurant’s signature guacamole and salsas. Menu highlights include tacos – like the Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Baja, Camaron, and Nopal (cactus) – burritos, like the Al Pastor Burrito and quesadillas, like the Pollo Asado quesadilla and Mar y Tierra Fries, along with a selection of all-natural paletas, Mexican refreshments, imported beer, and freshly prepared Rosarito-style churros for a sweet finish.

Taco Stand Miami Beach will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 12 AM. and Friday through Saturday from 11 AM. to 3 AM for late-night dining.
