Launched in early 2011, SHO embodies an innovative approach to nightlife in South Florida. A departure from the conventional Fort Lauderdale scene, SHO is an ultra-exclusive venue that combines a touch of Miami sophistication and a splash of LA style.
Located on Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk in the long lasting Automatic Slims location, the bi-level venue features over 8,500 square foot of space including 28 VIP tables arranged between two floors and rooms. Conceptualized by renowned designer Andy Kostas, SHO mixes a state-of-the-art sound system and over-the-top décor bringing partygoers into a sleek and stylish atmosphere. The completely renovated space represents an uninhibited sexuality with a seductive and sophisticated allure, while the décor boasts a striking array of vibrant colors and textures. The main floor is wrapped with plush red velvet couches and mirrored walls creating an oasis around the club’s center bar. The centerpiece of SHO’s first floor is a one-of-a-kind Illuminarc LED video chandelier, the mesmerizing fixture spans over 15 feet and is unlike anything ever seen before. In addition, SHO features a dynamic lighting system that includes LED walls and fixtures that unite to create a stunning lighting display that is truly unparalleled. A grand metallic staircase leads guests to an upstairs lounge featuring a large VIP space. The inviting chocolate, red and orange hues emphasized with distinguished wood accents combine to create a luxurious look and feel.
“In the months to come, partygoers can expect a wide variety of events that trump anything the area has seen. I felt that Fort Lauderdale was ready for a venue inspired by the Los Angeles vibe,” says owner Jeff Rubin.
The cocktail menu highlights many unique signature cocktails including, SHO N’ Don’t Tell and The Apple Bottom, while also featuring an extensive VIP bottle menu. For private events, SHO seamlessly blends together a two floor environment to create a space ideal for any special occasion. Individually designed cocktail menus can be created to suit the needs of each client.
Open three nights a week, Thursday – Saturday from 11pm to 4am, the legendary nightlife location brings a high-energy decadent atmosphere complete with outstanding sound. Music appeals to all patrons, with a mix of house, hip-hop and open format. On Thursday nights, guests can enjoy open format for the Electric Karma Party.
