Sensory Friendly Saturday

Saturday, September 10 | 9AM -11AM

On the second Saturday of every month, Miami Children’s Museum offers a sensory friendly experience for children with disabilities and their families. This month we’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a sensory friendly musical performance, a festive dance play, and a tactile and colorful art project in our Art Studio. Enjoy a special sensory friendly story time and as always explore the Museum in a sensory modified, supportive setting with limited admission and sound and lighting adjustments. Our goal is to provide your child with the opportunity to engage in social interactions, improve their sensory processing and to optimize their understanding of and participation in natural environments.

Sensory Programming at Miami Children’s Museum is sponsored in part by The Ethel and Harry Reckson Foundation/Michael Spritzer & Marjorie Baron.
