Throughout the month of October, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood will help support breast cancer awareness in South Florida as the title sponsor of American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides of Broward” and by property-wide PINKTOBER initiatives.
As the title sponsor of “Making Strides of Broward” Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood has donated $50,000 to help build awareness and support the organization’s lifesaving mission. The resort will also continue to raise funds for Making Strides’ annual 5K walk on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 8:30 a.m. at Huizenga Plaza in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The resort will be illuminated in a pink glow to show support and hotel guests can spend a day lounging at the pool in an exclusive pink poolside cabana with 20 percent of the rental fee donated to American Cancer Society. Casino guests can play at the PINKTOBER blackjack tables decorated with pink accents and pink table felts.
Food & Beverage
Blue Plate will feature a special PINKTOBER “DJ PJ” brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays in October from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pink drink specials will include a Pink Basil-tini available at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, Plum Lounge and high limit table games rooms; PINKTOBER Champagne Cocktail at Center Bar and on the casino floor; Watermelon Sangria at L Bar; Pink Lemonade Margarita at Beach Club and Pink Cranberry Peach Bellini at Blue Plate. Seminole Hard Rock’s Japanese craft kitchen, Kuro, will feature its sweet cocktail Ni and Beet Konran for dessert. Pink cupcakes, pink parfaits and doughnuts will be available at Constant Grind, Blue Plate and in-room dining. A $1 donation from each item sold will benefit American Cancer Society.
Rock Spa
At the Rock Spa, guests can enjoy select PINKTOBER services including pink hair extensions, manicure 50-minute body treatment, 50-minute Swedish massage, and hair wash and blow dry. Specialty pink retail items will also be available. Proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society.
