The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be literally raising the roof in celebration of the topping out of its brand new, state-of-the-art Winner’s Way parking garage presently under construction. The nine-stories-tall (112 feet), approximately one million-square-foot parking garage is expected to be completed in December.
Prior to the lifting and topping out of the 17,000-pound concrete slab hoisted by a crane, more than 200 Kraft and Coreslab workers and craftsmen, the Seminole Tribal Council and Tribal Building Department employees will personally sign the roof and pose for photos. In traditional Hard Rock Hotel fashion, an evergreen tree that symbolizes growth and good luck will also be raised and placed atop the garage.
Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming, will address the economic impact of building the garage and the significant steps it will take to improve property accessibility. Phil Madow, president of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, as well as executives from Kraft and Coreslab, will also be available for interview.
When completed, the new garage will offer guests a hassle-free, covered option to access the resort’s award-winning casino and world-class amenities. Winner’s Way will allow guests direct access to the casino and Seminole Paradise. It will provide 3,000 additional spaces, 14 elevators, six escalators, a 351-foot-tall pedestrian bridge, a 164-foot-tall Casino bridge, first and second level casino direct access pedestrian bridges and a car count system – all in a brightly lit environment.
