“Seeds of Hope” Bazaar, Luncheon, Entertainment and Fashion Show

Donning Louboutin’s, Jimmy Choo’s, Manolo’s and this season’s ‘it’ bags, more than 500 stylish women will converge on the JW Marriott Marquis Miami Hotel on October 6th for a day of glamour, fashion, shopping, entertainment and philanthropy as the Miami-Dade Chapter of America Developing Smiles presents the 14th annual ‘Seeds of Hope Extravaganza’ fundraiser, benefiting ADS Educational Centers in Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

Latin Grammy award winners “Chino and Nacho” will perform hit tunes during the highly anticipated event as models, wearing Silvia Tcherassi’s “RESORT 2012” Collection, walk the runway.  Event attendees will also be able to enjoy a day-long, pre-holiday bazaar and luncheon featuring an array of upscale merchandise by more than 50 international and local vendors including crocodile clutches, caftans, hand-smocked children’s dresses and gold and silver artisan jewelry.

Founded in 1997, America Developing Smiles is a private, charitable foundation, committed to assisting impoverished Latin American communities through leadership, volunteerism and fundraising activities. The organization has grown to include more than 300 women volunteers who organize fundraising programs for children’s educational centers in Latin America, and work directly with community outreach programs for at-risk families in underprivileged neighborhoods in some of the most impoverished cities in the region.

America Developing Smiles continues its work as the USA Headquarters of Asociación Damas Salesianas (ADS). Through ADS, the fundraising efforts of America Developing Smiles benefits more than 1,500 children in Venezuela, Nicaragua, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the State of Florida, giving these children education, health, love and hope for tomorrow.

“I would like to thank our corporate sponsors and committee members who, year after year, have helped to make this event an overwhelming success,” said Evelyn Villanueva, President of the Miami-Dade Chapter for America Developing Smiles. “Thanks to their hard work and generosity, we have been able to sow ‘seeds of hope’ for children living in some of the poorest areas of Latin America.”
