Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour proudly hosted the Miami Father’s Day Honors, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Father’s Day with an in-store cocktail reception on Thursday, June 17. The awards were sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection in partnership with Miami magazine and benefited the Children First Society for UM Pediatrics. This year’s deserving recipients were: Jon Batchelor, Jeffrey Dever, Robert Finvarb, Rico James, Ryan Rosenberg and Neil Sazant. Throughout the evening guests enjoyed delicious bites courtesy of One Bal Harbour and spirits by Johnnie Walker Black Label.
The Father’s Day Honors set out to find local role model dads in the Miami area who make a positive impact through their style, generosity and dedication to their families and communities. The fathers were chosen by a committee from the Children First Society for UM Pediatrics and Miami magazine for embodying the principles of fatherhood, and for leaving a legacy for generations of fathers-to-be.
“The Father’s Day Honors awards ceremony allowed us to celebrate these great dads, each with a unique style,” says Deborah Slack, Vice President and General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour.
The awards ceremony was followed by a shopping weekend at Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour where 10% of Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection sales were donated to the Children First Society for UM Pediatrics. The fathers were outfitted in Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection, becoming the ideal ambassadors in their community for the line of quality classics with an international point-of-view.
