Miami Music Festival Conference Session To Feature Perez and partners Marco Bissi and Rick Stevens talking to Billboard’s Leila Cobo about their recent chart-topping album

(Miami, FL) November 23, 2009 – Organizers of The Miami Music Festival Conference, December 11-12, 2009, have announced a keynote interview by Billboard’s Leila Cobo with producer Rudy Perez and music industry veterans Marco Bisi and Rick Steves where they will discuss the extraordinary success of  ‘Buscame,’ the new album by the musician and actor Jencarlo. According to Billboard, “(Buscame) may be the highest-ever first-week position on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart from a debut act with independent distribution.” Jencarlos’ “Búscame” debuted last week at No. 2.

The Rudy Perez keynote joins MMF keynote sessions with artist manager and former Motown CEO Kedar Massenburg, a keynote session with Isaac Slade of The Fray, a master class with producer Dallas Austin, and the BMI panel featuring Austin, Jim Jonsin, Sergio George, and Cool & Dre, as high points of the conference.
Rudy Pérez is an International songwriter and producer. During the last 25 years, he has composed over 600 songs and written and produced hits for international artists such as Beyonce, Julio Iglesias, Christina Aguilera, Michael Bolton, Luis Miguel, Jose Feliciano, Marc Anthony and Jaci Velasquez among others. He is the first Latin record producer to be named Billboard Hot Latin Tracks Producer of the Year for four consecutive years.
