South Floridians are all a buzz because word has gotten out about Rocco Donna’s annual anniversary bash, the highly anticipated event, where the Argentinean-born A-list celebrity stylist, Leonardo Rocco, and his team of talented artists will put on a “Circus” themed bash to celebrate the very special five year mark. This year’s celebrity-studded event is to be celebrated on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at the ultra hip and sleek LIV, Miami’s hottest venue located inside the glamorous Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The anniversary event is a who’s-who of Hispanic celebrities, the Hispanic media universe and Rocco’s personal friends that include Miami’s elite, this year all will have the opportunity to walk on the Susan G. Komen for the Cure pink carpet.
“I wanted to thrill my guests that have come to expect an amazing production for my anniversary bashes and this year I decided to join forces with all my partners and deliver my favorite elements: hair and make-up design, fashion, music, and philanthropy,” says Leonardo Rocco, president and CEO of Rocco Donna Hair & Beauty Art. “To me, these components bring beauty, light and enhances one’s spirit, and to me that is what my new 2010 ‘Circus’ collection encompasses; it opens the door to imagination and ingenuity.”

In addition to Crocker’s Asian inspired collection, guests will be entertained by Venezuelan singing sensation Marger, who has an enviable voice and a bubbly personality which makes a huge splash wherever she goes. Marger will perform high-energy sound tracks from her debut album “Como te digo.”
To support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the hair and beauty expert has decided to partner up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and have a pink carpet for all his celebrity and VIP guests. “Miami-Dade has the highest rate of late-stage breast cancer in Hispanic women compared to the rest of the U.S.”, noted the hair design guru. “Seventy-five percent of my clients are women and it is important to me to raise awareness to one of their very real threats”.
