ROBOT ROADSHOW TOUR

Come meet hard-hitting robot Ambush from DreamWorks Pictures’ “Real Steel” as he goes on the road to select cities across the country.

AMBUSH’S appearance in Hollywood, FL will coincide with the Panther Promotions stellar boxing event at the Seminole Hard Rock Live as they showcase the “FUTURE SUPERSTARS” bringing together an exciting ten-round battle featuring a former IBF 126 pound world champion Erick Aikens (16-8-1) fighting out of Washington, D.C. who is being pitted against the former world title challenger and Florida resident Edner “Cherry Bomb” Cherry (28-6-2, 16 Kos) for their evenly-matched main event.

ABOUT THE BOTS:

AMBUSH: Ambush is a low-rent circuit bot. Never destined to be a league bot or contender, Ambush hasn’t been able to fight his way out of the underworld venues. The best fight that his owner Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) can arrange for Ambush is literally against a piece of livestock.

A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

DreamWorks Pictures presents “Real Steel,” directed by Shawn Levy, produced by Don Murphy, Susan Montford and Shawn Levy, with a screenplay by John Gatins, story by Dan Gilroy and Jeremy Leven, and based in part on the short story “Steel” by Richard Matheson.

Panther Promotions is taking boxing to a different level.  They are getting away from the way boxing has been promoted for quite some time. They feel it’s time to open the doors for the young talent that can go all the way, and this card on September 23 proves just that. Panther Promotions will be presenting World Class Boxing, Women’s Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai and Entertainment.

PANTHERS’ COMMUNITY COMMITMENT: $1 of every ticket sold will be donated to the charitable organization “HELP OTHERS”, a non-for-profit organization established to assist young men and women to obtain scholarship assistance as well as assisting single mothers to help their children to advance themselves in a better direction.

Ticket prices are $ 105, $65, $35. Tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster
