The week of Art Basel Miami Beach is already reverberating with what is revered as the most exclusive evening of superlative entertainment and unexpected appearances that only the biggest art fair in the world can deliver
Rico Love will be celebrating his thirtieth birthday among his closest family, friends and industry leaders, as part of a private invitation-only event, taking place on Saturday, December 8th. Dozens of the most powerful individuals from the music business will join select guests from the sport, entertainment, fashion and art world, to pay tribute to the man who has influenced their artistic lives and creative repertoires over the last decade.
This year’s event will take place at the prestigious and newly opened SLS Hotel South Beach and will feature an exclusive fashion show by Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2013, presented by Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour on a purpose-built runway, especially created over the hotel’s infinity pool.
“This year’s birthday marks the beginning of my maturity,” jokes Love. “I couldn’t think of a more exciting way of celebrating this milestone than with an amazing showcase by one of my favourite designers. I am extremely humbled and privileged to have such an esteemed fashion icon within our family and cannot wait to see her most beautiful creations on Saturday night. We are all very excited to have Eva join us for this special occasion”
