Sensory Friendly Saturday
Saturday, June 11 | 9AM -11AM
On the second Saturday of every month, Miami Children’s Museum offers a sensory friendly experience for children with disabilities and their families. This month we’re celebrating our Rainbow Families. Enjoy a special sensory friendly story time with stories that empower children of all family backgrounds, enjoy a rainbow sensory activity, and create identity flags. And as always explore the Museum in a sensory modified, supportive setting with limited admission and sound and lighting adjustments. Our goal is to provide your child with the opportunity to engage in social interactions, improve their sensory processing and to optimize their understanding of and participation in natural environments.
Sensory Programming at Miami Children’s Museum is sponsored in part by The Ethel and Harry Reckson Foundation/Michael Spritzer & Marjorie Baron.
