R House is inviting guests to choose their side for DRAGARYS: RHouse of Dragons, an all-day fantasy-inspired takeover celebrating one of television’s biggest season finales. On Sunday, August 9, the Wynwood destination will transform from its signature drag brunch into an evening watch party, complete with dragon-worthy performances, themed cocktails, chef-driven specials and a big-screen finale viewing.
The festivities begin with themed drag brunch seatings at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., where queens channel rival royal houses through over-the-top performances while guests enjoy bottomless cocktails and one-day-only menu specials. As night falls, the celebration continues with Dragon Hour from 6-7 p.m., featuring half-off select craft cocktails before the 7 p.m. drag spectacular, including a “DRAGon fight” and quotes from the series, all leading into the highly anticipated season finale screening at 9 p.m.
For the occasion, R House will offer fantasy-inspired dishes, from The Golden Dragon, the restaurant’s signature gold leaf-topped burger, and Balerion’s Bone, a shareable 32-ounce Prime Tomahawk, to bites like The Small Council (charcuterie) Board, Dragon Wings, Dragon Eggs and Dracarys Chicken.
Behind the bar, cocktails receive the same royal treatment with pours including Fire & Blood with hibiscus, guava and ginger beer; Dracarys with torched pineapple and Thai chili; The Green Court which takes on a bright hue with butterfly powder; The Dragon Queen, crowned with a dragon fruit float and blue orchid; and The Green Throne with watermelon and basil. The standout signature offering guests should be sure to try is the Milk of the Poppy, a decadent espresso martini-inspired cocktail served with a mini bucket of caramel popcorn: the ultimate finale-night pairing.
