Someone buy this man a guayabera. Vince Vaughn was spotted over the weekend at Bang Model Volleyball tournament on the sands of Miami Beach, decked out in all black. Locals know that this color doesn’t mesh well with our sunny climate, but we will cut the actor some slack. Broward County Film Commission Takes Off Running
The Broward County Film Commission was relaunched in January 2022 with a new leader – seasoned producer/former Miami-Dade FilmCommissioner Sandy Lighterman. Sandy has been joined by team members Christy Andreoni, FilmSpecialist and M. Denise Simmons, Administrative Film Specialist. Sandy, Christy, and M. Denise are thrilled to represent and support local industry professionals by attracting on-location production to the region. Between the opening of the office in January through March 2022, 255 permits have been processed with over $42 million in economic impact and over 3,200 crew member hires. Dean Cain portrays the mayor of Dunedin in a film about a robotic dog
Dean Cain is best known for portraying the man of steel in the series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Soon, he’ll also be known as the mayor of Dunedin. Well, the cinematic mayor. Next week, Cain will be in Dunedin to portray the city’s mayor in the movie R.A.D.A.R.: Adventures of the Bionic Dog. “Who is better to be mayor than Superman,” said Tony Armer, the St. Petersburg-Clearwater filmcommissioner. “It’s a family-friendly, fun, kids adventure film.” CLICK HERE to read more.
