Producer / Director Andy Weiss to Begin Production on New Documentary at Miami’s CamCon 2016

CamCon 2016, the camming industry’s top trade show, has sold out the SLS, the Redbury and has opened up another room block at the Raleigh, to accommodate the last few weeks of new momentum, for the 3rd annual Expo. CamCon recently announced that the registrations have doubled since last year’s pre registrations, while adding 30 new registrants per day.  People from around the world will descend to beautiful Miami Beach to experience the three-day B2B, break out seminars, fan event and it’s after parties at some of Miami’s hottest venues, if not the world.  Cam Con taking place May 31-June 3, 2016 at SLS South Beach in Miami, Florida.
Famed writer/producer Andy Weiss has come on board to shoot a documentary about cams and the cam industry and will be on-site the entire week of the expo. Weiss, a writer, director and producer known for “Middle Men”, “Whiteboy Rick”, “After Porn Ends” and “Punk’d” is excited at the opportunity.  “The cam world is a unique exploration for us,” says Weiss. “It may be the future of relationships and sexual intimacy in our world, and it is also filled with daring and colorful characters.”
Interest in the expo, now in its third year, has hit an all-time high:  Live and user generated content are currently the star attraction of internet entertainment, a major growth industry, where fans can truly interact real time with their favorite models, which is something the DVD nor the subscription business can’t offer its fans.
The convention will feature over 175 career models, social media stars and the top companies in the industry, such as LiveJasmin, FreeWebCams, Chaturbate, Naked, Camster, Model Centro, Vuier and many more companies exhibit alongside card payment processing, hardware and software providers and web advertisers, seeking to network with new talent and up and coming businesses within the camming industry.
“Stacey Havoc and I created this show to give the hottest sector in all media the opportunity to collaborate and evolve the user generated content industry even further.  Whether Adult or Mainstream, it’s undeniable that this segment of media is still at its infancy and only getting larger.  In our lifetime we have witnessed a change in all of media.  Outside of Adult Web Cams, we have watched YouTube, Intsagram and SnapChat produced numerous new age careers for these amazing characters.  So it’s beyond exciting for our show to be a catalyst for the growth of this exciting sector.”  Says Clinton Cox, Co Founder of Cam Con.
The new CamCon 2016 event dates will coincide with XBIZ’s summer show at SLS to ensure maximum efficiency for those looking to get as much out of their conference time in Miami as possible.  Tickets are $125/day, $225/2 days + seminars. 18 & over ONLY.
SLS South Beach is located at 1701 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida 33139
