Presidents Day Weekend is All Aglow at Miami Children’s Museum

“Sensory Saturday at the Miami Children’s Museum May 9, 2015”

There’s a party going on and it’s a glowing affair.  Miami Children’s Museum is throwing a Glow Party this year for Presidents Day Weekend!  Every day from 1-5PM the Museum becomes a glow in the dark extravaganza!  The party begins on Saturday, February 16th and runs through Presidents Day Monday, February 18th.  It will be a festive time for all!

The Museum’s first annual Glow Party will feature dancing, black light wall painting and glow in the dark hoola hoop fun. And if you read the Dr. Seuss bookBartholomew and the Oobleck, then get ready to make some glow in the dark oobleck! What is oobleck you may ask?  It’s a sticky green substance that puts the slime into a slimey good time. Pop into the Art Studio and make a black light t-shirt (additional fee required for t-shirt) to wear to the Glow Party! All this and more the whole weekend long!

Join the Presidents Weekend Glow Party at Miami Children’s Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island in Miami Saturday, February 16th through 18th from 1-5PM each day.  Admission is $20 for adults and children, $15 for Florida Residents, free for children under 1 year and admission for Museum Members is complimentary.  For more information, please contact the Museum at 305.373.KIDS (5437) or visit www.miamichildrensmuseum.org.
