HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN ICON AWARD

For 25 years, the Memorial Classic/Joe DiMaggio Legends Game was a major charity event, raising millions of dollars for the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation and helping thousands of children. The inaugural Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award event will carry on this baseball tradition, and former major league baseball players will be in attendance to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Joe DiMaggio’s Birthday.
