Power Up The Wolfsonian on Give Miami Day

unnamed-3In honor of Give Miami Day (Thursday, November 19), The Wolfsonian is throwing a muscle-themed day of giving inspired by our very own Wrestler mascot! As we invite Miamians to #PowerUpTheWolf, we’re opening our doors free to the public and moving The Wrestler—our massive sculpture from the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games—to front stage center of our lobby, accompanied by a pop-up display of vintage Strength and Health magazines. With a convenient donation station, complimentary neuro drinks, and mini “power shot” tours every hour starting at 1:30pm, it’s a day not miss. This year also marks The Wolf’s first time participating in Give Miami Day, so we hope your readers will flex their philanthropic muscles and lend a hand in making us stronger than ever.

Here’s a dose of what donations on November 19 will help make possible (even a little goes a long way!):

$35 pays for a family of 4 to enjoy one of our family days for free

$75 supports a Sketching in the Galleries session for 20 aspiring artists

$100 funds a week of unlimited audio tours for Wolfsonian attendees

$250 covers a Takeover Tour for 30 participants

The Wolfsonian joins more than 500 local nonprofits in asking Miamians to show their support by giving back on this annual day of philanthropy, sponsored by The Miami Foundation. Donations made on November 19 not only help the institutions give back to the community and meet funding goals, but also are generously matched by The Miami Foundation and its sponsors—making supporters’ dollars count even more. For those unable to join us in person on November 19, donations can be made online via The Wolf’s profile on miamifoundation.org.

Spread the love!
