Closing out the season will be the lovable Pippi Longstocking, written by Thomas W. Olson with music by Roberta Carlson (June 23 – August 7, 2010, Saturdays 2 p.m.). Based on the children’s books by Astrid Lindgren, this outrageously fun musical follows the life of the unforgettable little girl with the freckled face and red pig tails as she struggles to find her place in the world. Complete with a horse on the on porch, monkey in the kitchen, pirates, and tea parties this fast-paced musical is non-stop fun for all ages. Join Pippi and her non-matching stockings as she discovers that sometimes fitting in is not fitting in at all.
