~ Come dressed as your favorite dinosaur, caveman or archeologist and dash your way through Pinecrest to the finish line ~
WHAT:
Join the Village of Pinecrest’s Parks & Recreation Department for its first-ever, family-friendly Dino Dash 5k (fun run). But unlike typical race events, Pinecrest is encouraging kids and adults to come dressed as their favorite dinosaur, caveman or archeologist and dash their way through Evelyn Greer Park and the beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods to the finish line.
The Dino Dash 5k is part of Pinecrest’s #FitCrest initiative, promoting a more positive and healthier community. Other wellness events hosted by the Parks & Recreation Department throughout the year include the FitCrest 5k.
Dino Dash 5k participants who sport the best costumes will automatically be entered into a contest for a chance to win a FitCrest prize package and a 90-day gym membership to the Pinecrest Community Center Gym. Light refreshments will be available following the fun run.
