PIANO SLAM’s teen poets are the best of the best, having won a year-long music and creative writing competition with thousands of students in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The Miami Herald has recommended PIANO SLAM as a hip musical showcase for young Miami poets in an extraordinary collaboration of international artists.

PIANO SLAM 2023 is a FREE concert featuring classical, hip-hop and spoken word mash-ups performed by Miami’s top teen poets. Joined by international artists Piano Duo Spektra, Miami’s own Afrobeta, poet Arsimmer McCoy and other professional artists, this hip musical showcase will ignite your soul.
