PGA TOUR Stars and Cadillac to Raise Money for Two Miami-area Charities in One-of-a-Kind Driving Experience

The Cadillac V-Series Challenge for Charity1The Cadillac V-Series Challenge for Charity will see players from the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship visit Homestead-Miami Speedway to compete in a three-part performance vehicle challenge and ride in the Cadillac race car for lap with driver Andy Pilgrim.

Media are invited to participate as well and test their driving skills at the speedway in the Cadillac V-Series performance line-up and the all-new ATS.

 

Who:                     PGA TOUR players will include: Matt Kuchar, Rickie Fowler, Charl Schwartzel, Dustin Johnson, Graeme McDowell, Peter Hanson, Bill Haas, and Bo Van Pelt. (Subject to change)

 

Cadillac executives on site: Jim Vurpillat, global marketing director and Melody Lee, global brand strategy & reputation

 

Charitable representatives from The First Tee-Miami and Homestead-Miami Speedway’s Driving For A Cause.

 

Additionally, two fans will be selected by World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship to join the players at the track and enjoy the day’s activities.

 

Why:                 Each participating professional golfer will represent either The First Tee-Miami or Driving For A Cause.  The individual golfer/competitor with the fastest cumulative time in both the start & stop and champagne slalom will win $12,000 for his respective charity.  The other charity will receive $8,000.

 

The drivers will drive laps on the track’s 1.5-mile oval; this will not be part of the charity competition.

 

When:                   Wednesday, March 6, 2013

  11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET
