At its free Dec. 19 Meet & Greet Santa Claus event, Perricone’s Marketplace & Café in Miami is not only bringing holiday cheer to event attendees, but also to South Floridians who are hungry. During the Meet & Greet, which will feature complimentary punch, cookies and a photo with Santa, Perricone’s will be collecting cash donations of any amount for Feeding South Florida™ (formerly Daily Bread Food Bank).
Feeding South Florida, South Florida’s leading hunger-relief organization, and its network of over 800 agencies supply food to more than 1 million South Floridians experiencing food insecurity during the year. For every dollar donated, Feeding South Florida can provide nine pounds of food and grocery items to its member agencies.
“Perricone’s is proud to support Feeding South Florida, especially during the holidays. We invite everyone to come out and visit Santa on the 19th and we encourage our neighbors to bring a donation for those in need,” said Steven Perricone, owner of Perricone’s Marketplace & Café.
