A family-friendly attraction by day, Jungle Islandwill transform its tropical grounds into an adult playground and the ultimate Cinco de Mayo celebration by night during the park’s first-ever Cinco at Jungle Island, which will be held from 4 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 4.
Presented by Jungle Island and Vitamin C- the creators of BrickellFest Events, Cinco at Jungle Island will offer locals an opportunity to party like animals, while enjoying non-stop entertainment featuring rock bands, DJs, sunset concert on La Playa, restaurants, 13 food trucks, late night animal shows, mechanical bull rides, mini-Mexican wrestlers, zip lines, and photo booths.
During the lively open-air fiesta, multiple experiences will simultaneously take place around theisland including musical performances and entertainment from the hottest talent in town. Groove to Cris Cab and the Miami Heat’s own DJ Irie, as well as Jared Dylan and La Linea. Additionally, DJ sets by local favorites Retrokidd and Javi C will keep the crowd in a festive mood.
Cinco at Jungle Island also will offer event-goers an array of cuisine and Mexican fare from top Miami restaurants, plus a “Food Truck Alley” curated by Sef Gonzalez, A.K.A. The Burger Beast. Participating food trucks include Da Burger Shack, Ceviche 305, Box of Chacos, Ms. Cheezious, HipPops, Munchcakes, King of Racks BBQ, Cheeseburger Baby, TopFries, CrazyDilla, Healthnut on Wheels, Sugaryummy Mama and Chacos Tacos.
Within the unique logistics of this fete, VIP lounge areas will be set-up and stocked with premium spirits and fresh cigars provided by Maya Celva Cigar Company. Along with access to the exclusive VIP lounges, VIPs will enjoy meet & greet with the artists, preferred show seatings, private animal encounter, (1) classic margarita, sponsored 1 oz. shot, Jose Cuervo infused cupcakes from Ana Paz Cakes, and other memorabilia.
The cost to participate is $58 for general admission and $90 for VIP. Participants also receive two free tickets back to Jungle Island that are valid Monday-Friday through June 30, 2014.
