Paradise Farms Opens for Dinner
Since its debut in 2005, Dinner in Paradise founded by Gabriele Marewski and Michael Schwartz has been the premiere spot for South Floridians and culinary enthusiasts. Dinner in Paradise is a seasonal, outdoor organic restaurant set in the fields of Paradise Farms. It was created to raise money for worthy causes and create awareness of local farms, cuisine and chefs. A one of a kind experience, where foodies gather to enjoy meals prepared and served by some South Florida’s celebrated chefs.
Dinner in Paradise in its fifth season will host some of South Florida’s top chefs, including, Chef Jeff Mcinnis from the Dilido Beach Club at the Ritz Carlton South Beach, Chef’s Gordon Maybury and Brett Rayon from the Loews Hotel Miami Beach- who donated all the lovely dishes, Chef Michael Schwartz , Giancarla Bodoni from Escopazzo, Chef Michelle Bernstein from Michy’s and new comers: Chefs John Psilakis & Sean McTiernan from Eos at the Viceroy and Chef John Chitchley from Area31 at the Epic Hotel.
At this meeting ground, guests with a reserved space will enjoy fresh produce from Whole Foods Market, excellent wines from Stacole Fine Wines and Schnebly Redland’s Winery, amazing sauces from Lucini Itlalia and delicious Columbian coffee from Café Don Pablo.
Dinner in Paradise proceeds benefit The Education Fund for their Plant a Thousand Gardens Collaborative Nutrition Initiative (www.educationfund.org). Paradise Farms is donating 16 Ready to Grow garden beds to 16 public schools. Paradise Farms has already donated one bed each to Miami Dade Community College and Fairchild Tropical Garden for their teacher education programs.
Dinners are scheduled from December through February and begin at 5 PM with a cocktail reception followed by a farm tour. Dinner begins at 6 PM. March & April’s dinner will begin at 6 PM. Each dinner, priced at $165.50 (tax and Google fee included), features six courses made with local, organic products, paired with top quality wines.
